Please help the individuals that suffer the most during war: the children. For thelast few years we have been receiving shoes, clothes and note books fromoutside of Afghanistan for Afghan children. But, we soon realized thatbuying shoes in Kabul is much, much cheaper and easier. With expensiveshipping costs and customs fees we pay there is less money spent on theitems they so desperately need and more money on just getting them to thechildren. More could be provided when less is spent on the transport.Additionally this helps our economy as we buy Afghan manufactured goods.
Weare not disappointed in your sending us shoes, socks, clothesand stationary for Afghan children. These gifts have helped them getto school, stay warm and have school utensils.Also, if you do knowan easy, inexpensive channel, for example through ISAF or a soldierin Afghanistan, by all means ship directly to them. We are happyto receive these donations!
We highly appreciate your donationand we promise we will spend you rmoney well, as we have been doing forsome time now. We will provide you with pictures and video individuallyor for a group if a group gives together.
Please take action and helpenrich Afghan children's lives. Many have to work to put food on thetable, in winter without any shoes in thes now. Many are orphaned and thesole provider, just struggling day today.

Street Child Worker
Today hundredsof these children are in the streets to work and earn money to feedthemselves and their families. Many of these children come from poorfamilies who lost their fathers and mothers and today they have to do theharshest work, just to survive. This child is one of them who supportshis family by polishing people's boots on the streets. She is only 9years old deprived of going to school. As she looks to the horizon, wecan imagine......she seems to be dreaming on the horizon of her future.Currently her world doesn’t exceed further than herself, the slipper sheholds and the tools she is carrying.
An explosion kills five children in western Kabul.
Themissile was the remains of civil war in the 1990's. The children broughtit out from the wreckage of a Russian tank and played with it,until itexploded. Among seven children, four of them have been killed and tworemain wounded. As you see the cup and gloves of children who werekilled in this explosion there remains their blood on the ground. Thisis testement to what the innocent and guiltless suffer.
Afghan Children always suffer from different kinds of abuses. They are the least able to defend themselves from it.
